Possessing and sharing his very rare talent of singing, composing and instrument handling, Sami Yusuf has won and earned himself a lot of respect, acknowledge and tons of fans around the world. Sami Yusuf was born into a family of music, he learned to play the same instruments like his father and after some years he’s interest in music itself was awaken. He started singing and experimented with song composition, harmonies and theories, and at the age of eighteen he obtained a scholarship for studying composition at the Royal Academy of Music in London.

Sami Yusuf uses his songs for promoting the message of Islam and he often encourages young people to be proud of their identity and belief.  He has done 2 songs together with Outlandish so far, Try Not to Cry and the beautiful and shaking song I’ve Seen, about the “Ummah” (Islamic Society) once known so well, but one day it fell. He’s a good friend of Outlandish and especially of Isam.

There seems to be a special bond and connection between the two guys, who actually got to know each other by e-mailing back and forth in 2 years. First time Isam and Sami met each other was in London, where hey did a performance together at an Islamic events. It was a big success and surprise to many people, and they have continued the act in Alexandria (Egypt) and other big cities, singing hand in hand and smile by smile.
